2006, a small group of Holden citizens met to form the Holden Historical Society. We incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 in 2007. 2016, the Town of Holden transferred the ownership of the Historic Town Hall to the Society. We have been busily restoring our building for our collection and for community use.
The Holden Historical Society exists for the purpose of preserving and perpetuation of the collective memories of our community, engaging with and educating residents of (and visitors to) our community, and to serve as a community asset where members and visitors gather for fellowship and fun.
Our extensive collections include photographs, documents, artifacts, and more. We are planning to offer our materials to the public when the restoration of our building is complete.
Your donation plays a vital role in safeguarding the stories and artifacts that make Holden Historical Society's history come alive.
We love sharing our historic town hall with neighbors and visitors. The building is open each Friday from 3PM to 6PM during the Holden Farmer's Market. Please stop by!
